The Database Administrator should meet, or exceed the following requirements and have the appropriate qualifications:
- Expert level proficiency in the administration and support of various development and production databases (Oracle & SQL) running on multiple platforms.
- Database installation, configuration, maintenance, backup / recovery
- Software upgrades, applicable patches
- Job creations
- Growth and performance monitoring, trend analysis
- Security and user management of production and test databases
- DBA experience with databases running on Sun Solaris (UNIX) and Microsoft Windows platforms
